Ordering, delivery and payment terms and conditions of the online store
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The online store is a marketplace owned and operated by Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy (business ID 0556229-9). These terms and conditions apply to commercial relationships between Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy and its customers. Suomen Rakennusmedia is entitled to updating these terms and conditions without prior notice. The terms and conditions in force at the time of ordering are applied to orders.
Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy is not liable for damage caused by force majeure. Force majeure is an unforeseeable event or change in circumstances beyond the control of Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy. Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy shall inform the customer about force majeure circumstances immediately.
PRODUCTS
The right to use a product begins after Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy has issued a user name and password to the user indicated by the customer.
All training products can be ordered as a one-time order. The personal user license is valid for 1 month – 12 months depending on the product.
It is possible to order part of the training products as a long-term subscription. Depending on the product, the subscription period is 12 months to 5 years after receiving the user ID. The personal user license is valid for 12 months from the order and from the renewal of the long-term subscription.
Subscription-related invoicing takes place at the beginning of the order period. A subscription is extended automatically, unless the contract is terminated before the start of the next subscription period.
A subscription can be terminated by the customer by logging in to the customer’s administration view in the online store or by notifying the termination in writing, by e-mail to ekoulutukset@rateko.fi. The termination takes effect at the beginning of the new invoicing period. A subscription must be terminated at least one (1) month before the start of the new invoicing period.
The training product is for personal use; the link to the training may not be shared with others and the right to participate in the training may not be transferred to another person. Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy has the right to remove from a training persons who do not have the right to participate in the training.
PRICE LIST
Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy charges for the use of its services in accordance with the currently valid price list. The currently valid value-added tax is added to all of the prices. If required, the customer is obliged to provide evidence of the membership entitling to the price discount. Otherwise, Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy has the right to charge the regular price of its product or service or to charge the difference between the regular price and the member price afterwards. Membership-related questions can be submitted by contacting Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy’s customer service at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
PAYMENT INTERMEDIATION AND ONLINE BANK SERVICE PROVIDER
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) serves as the payment intermediation service and payment service provider in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution licence.

PAYMENT TERM AND INVOICING FEE
Ordering for an invoice requires registration and login to the online store. The payment term is 14 days.
The invoicing fee valid at the time of invoicing is added to the invoices. The valid invoicing fee is €0. At specific request, the invoice can be issued on paper. In such a case, the paper invoice fee of €5 (+ VAT) will be charged.
CUSTOMER AND DATA PROTECTION
When submitting an order, the customer is obliged to provide the required data on the order form, which data must be accurate. The customers’ data are stored in the online store’s user register. All data stored in the register are used and stored for the purposes of customer relationship management and training product use.
The participant details entered in connection with an order are stored in the online training participant data register of Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy. Training results data are transferred to Vastuu Group’s online services and the Zeroni access control system. Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy can disclose data stored in the register to Rakennusteollisuuden Koulutuskeskus RATEKO, a member of its group, for justified purposes, such as for direct marketing, in accordance with applicable legislation.
Customers can prohibit the use and processing of their data for marketing purposes and check the information available on them by contacting the customer service of Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy.
