How and when will I get the login link and password to the training environment?
- You will receive them by e-mail and text message.
- In practice, they arrive immediately.
NOTE: The link and password will be sent to the address and phone number stored in the training environment. The e-mail address in the training environment is used for sending messages, sending the possible certificates and resetting the password. Check your details in the training system and correct them if required, especially the e-mail address.
If you do not have a user profile in the training environment, (i.e., if you have not taken RATEKO’s online training courses before) or if you have changed your employer, your profile will be created based on the data provided in the order.
What data must I provide to log into the training environment?
- Your tax number
- The business ID of your company
- Your phone number
- The password you received by e-mail and text message
NOTE: Login details and training results are personal data. If you already have a profile in the training environment (you have taken RATEKO’s online training courses before), the login data are sent to the contact details in the training environment.
NOTE: You can log in without a business ID if a business ID was not entered when ordering (possible in case of one-time orders). Use the login details you received in the message to log in.
I cannot log in to the training. What to do?
- Check that you have entered your tax number correctly.
- Check the business ID you entered.
- Check your phone number.
- Check that you have correctly copied the password you received by e-mail and text message. If you do not remember your password, change it at https://eperehdytys.mmg.fi/ by choosing “Forgotten your username or password?”.
A tax number, business ID, phone number, and password are required for logging in. You will receive the password by e-mail and text message. The password is for you only. In case of one-time orders, if a business ID was not entered when ordering, it is possible to log in with phone number. If the trainee already has a user ID in the training environment, the contact details stored in the training environment will be used for communication (message about order, password resetting). In case of login problems, eKoulutus customer service can be contacted at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
I forgot my password. What to do?
Change the password at https://eperehdytys.mmg.fi/ by choosing “Forgotten your username or password?”.
NOTE: The link for password resetting is sent to the contact details stored in the training environment. (This means that the e-mail address stored there needs not match the address entered when ordering.) If you do not see the e-mail message with the resetting link in any of your mailboxes, check your spam folder. If the resetting link did not end up in the spam folder, contact customer service: ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
I can log in to the training environment, but my training course is not displayed in the course view. What to do?
Contact the customer service at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi. Enter your details in the message and remember to include your tax number.
Can I save an incomplete order and continue filling it out later?
An order cannot be saved as incomplete, as the order data are not stored in the browser’s memory. Therefore, complete the order in one go from start to finish, to avoid the need to start filling out the form and entering the data all over again.
How to purchase/order a training course?

Only one product per order can be added to cart. Subscriptions and one-time orders cannot be combined under the same order. If you want to order different training courses for the same participants, submit several orders.
Participant details must be filled in carefully and correctly so that the system can send login instructions and IDs for the training to the participant. The participant’s tax number must be registered in the construction industry’s tax number register. The tax number can be checked from the omavero.fi service at https://avoinomavero.vero.fi/ or from the photo ID used at the work site. If the participant’s tax number is not in the register, it can be notified to the tax number register, for example, by calling the tax authority’s service number 029 497 070 (local/mobile call charge applies). Attention! The online store checks the tax number entered under the participant’s details. Incorrect or incomplete participant details cause problems and will have to be corrected afterwards. Therefore, remember to check the correctness of all data provided!
If you should receive a notice claiming that the tax number is not in the construction industry register when filling out the participant information, but you know for a fact that it is in the register, try the following:
- Check that there are no extra characters, for example, spaces before or after the number.
- Refresh the page.
- Change the browser and try again.
- Contact customer service at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi if you are unable to submit an order after these steps.
How do I know that my order has been received?
You will receive an order confirmation to your mailbox with all the order details and a list of persons for whom the access right (=study right) has been acquired. If you do not receive the order confirmation, please check your spam folder. If necessary contact customer service at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
Note: The training participant will receive a separate message with login details for the training. Logging in to the training is possible only after the participant has received the message. The message contains a personal password and a link to the training.
What is the difference between subscription and one-time order?
Subscriptions render maintaining occupational safety expertise easier for companies. The training is ordered for the participant once and is renewed at the change of the subscription period until the subscription is terminated. The subscription period for ePerehdytys is 1 year. The subscription period for eKosteus is 5 years. Subscriptions are intended for companies only. A private person cannot subscribe to a training.
The customer is automatically sent an invoice at the change of the subscription period until the subscription is terminated. Before the start of a new subscription period and at the change of the period, a reminder message is sent to the customer about the training to be renewed soon. Login details are sent to the training participant at the beginning of the subscription and in connection with its renewal. The participants have one year to complete the training and the training results are valid for one year from successful training completion.
Invoicing is based on the study rights (= access to the course) ordered, not on the training results. All subscriptions are automatically renewed at the change of the invoicing period, regardless of whether the training has been completed or not. Since the invoicing is based on the number of study rights and not on course results, it is important for the customer to keep the employee details up to date and to remove from subscriptions the employees who no longer work in the customer’s organisation.
The customer can terminate its subscriptions. Termination of the subscription is done in the online store and the customer’s subscription ends at the end of the current invoicing period.
In case of one-time orders, the training is ordered, paid for and completed once. One-time orders can be submitted by companies or private persons.
How long is the study right valid?
- ePerehdytys: The study right is valid for one year from the order date, during which time the training can be completed. ePerehdytys qualification is valid for one year from successful completion.
- eKosteus: The study right is valid for one year from the order date, during which time the training can be completed. eKosteus qualification is valid for five years from successful completion.
- eKemikaali: The study right is valid for one year from the order date, during which time the training can be completed. eKemikaali qualification is valid for five years from successful completion.
- eKierrätys: The study right is valid for one year from the order date, during which time the training can be completed.
- eKestävyys: The study right is valid for one year from the order date, during which time the training can be completed.
- eTeline: The study right is valid for one year from the order date, during which time the training can be completed. eTeline qualification is valid for five years from successful completion.
- eTiivistys: The study right is valid for one year from the order date, during which time the training can be completed.
- In-service training for Level 1 certified scaffolding installers: The study right is valid for one month from the order date, during which time the training needs to be completed.
The customer can check the validity of study rights by logging into the online store and viewing the customer’s orders on the Orders tab of the Order management page. The validity of training results cannot be checked from the online store.
Which training courses are available by subscription?
ePerehdytys and eKosteus can be ordered by subscription, in which case the subscription will be extended and the invoices sent automatically until termination of the subscription. ePerehdytys and eKosteus training courses are also available by one-time order.
- The subscription period for ePerehdytys is 12 months and it starts at the time of subscription.
- The subscription period for eKosteus is 5 years and it starts at the time of subscription.
Which training courses are available by one-time order, i.e. not by subscription?
eTeline, eKemikaali, eKierrätys, eKestävyys and eTiivistys are available by one-time order. Depending on the training course, the order is valid for 1–12 months from order submission. The right of use takes effect with sending the user IDs. ePerehdytys and eKosteus training courses are also available by one-time order.
Why do I have to enter the e-mail address and phone number of each participant in the order?
The training course is purchased by ordering a study right for each course participant. If the participant does not yet have a profile in the training environment, we will send the login link and password to the e-mail and phone number specified in the order, which means that the data must be provided for each course participant. Please note that for transferring large amounts of data, the CSV import option has been provided in the online store.
I already have a profile in the training environment, but my e-mail has changed. To which address will the messages be sent?
The login link will be sent to the e-mail address stored in the training environment. The participant’s e-mail address entered in the order will not be automatically updated to the training environment if the participant has an existing profile in the training environment. The e-mail address in the training system is used for sending the possible certificates and resetting the password. Because of this, the participant is asked in the training environment to check and, if necessary, correct his or her contact details before starting the training. In case of login problems, eKoulutus customer service can be contacted at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
I’m ordering a training course for my employee, but I don’t know his e-mail. How to submit the order?
Enter your own e-mail address, for example, in the order. Please note that this means the message with login details (code and link) will be e-mailed to the address in question. You need to pass the information on to the employee.

How to cancel a subscription?
In accordance with the ordering, delivery and payment conditions of the online store, a subscription is valid product-specifically for 1–5 years at a time until further notice. A subscription must be terminated at least one (1) month before the start of the new invoicing period, in the online store or by contacting the customer service at laskutus@ekoulutukset.fi. The termination takes effect at the beginning of the new invoicing period.

Transfer of ePerehdytys and eKosteus training courses completed in the Vastuu Group’s online service before 1 June 2021 to Rateko’s online store. Where can I see my orders in the online store?
Orders are linked to the person who submitted them and can be reviewed in the online store on the Orders tab of the Order Management page. Register with the online store at https://verkkokauppa.rateko.fi/en/my-account/. Use the same e-mail address you used when ordering through Vastuu Group.
Why do I need to register with the online store?
It is recommended to register with the online store so that you can manage and view the orders you have submitted. Ordering on invoice requires registration and logging in.
How do I register with the online store?

How to add participants to a subscription?
New participants cannot be added to existing subscriptions. Submit a new order in the online store for the new participants.
Where can I check the validity of my orders?

Where can I check the training results of our employees and their validity?
You can check the validity of ePerehdytys, eKemikaali and eKosteus training results in online services of Vastuu Group and on the Valtti card, if the person has been added to Vastuu Group’s Employee Management service, and the the employer has a Valtti+ license, through which the information is authorized to the person asking for it. In addition, the training results are visible in the Zeroni access control system.
Will I be invoiced for a cancelled subscription?
Cancellation of a subscription in the online store takes effect at the change of the invoicing period. Cancellation is blocked 1 month before the subscription period changes. In other cases, contact the customer service at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
My employee managed to complete the training before I cancelled the order, can I have my money back?
If the training has been completed before cancelling the order, we will invoice for the training courses actually completed. In such cases, always contact customer service at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
Why is my order missing from the Order management page of the online store?
If you do not see all of your orders in the Order management section of the online store, contact customer service at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
Orders submitted in the online store are displayed under the user ID data of the customer who submitted the order. Thus, the order is visible under one user ID only. If you want to transfer an order under the data of another user ID, please contact customer service by e-mail ekoulutukset@rateko.fi
What is invoicing based on?
Invoicing is based on the number of study rights ordered for employees, not course results. Because of this, it is important for the customer to keep the employee details up to date and to remove from subscriptions the employees who no longer work in the customer’s organisation.
Can I purchase on invoice?
You can purchase one-time orders or subscriptions on invoice. Purchasing on invoice requires a business ID and logging in to the online shop. If the business ID on the order is not found in the customer register, the customer will be created based on the order. E-invoicing is the preferred form of invoicing, which is used if possible. If e-invoice details are lacking from the register, an e-mail invoice is used.
How can I change my invoicing details?
Contact laskutus@ekoulutukset.fi and state the new details.
How is one-time order paid for?
One-time orders are paid either at the time of purchase by online payment using Paytrail or by invoice. Purchasing on invoice requires a business ID and logging in to the online shop.
How long is the invoice payment term?
The invoice payment term is 14 days.
Our company has purchased training at a discounted price. Will the same discount continue to apply?
If your company has been granted a discount before, it will continue to apply, provided you are a member of an RT federation. The discount is applied to the order automatically. If your company is covered by several discounts, the largest discount will be applied. If you have questions about discounts, contact us at ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.
Is our company entitled to a discount on online store products?
The following organisations are entitled to a discount when purchasing ePerehdytys, eKosteus, eTeline, eKestävyys, eKierrätys, and eKemikaali training courses:
- Member companies of Rakennusteollisuus RT ry
- Vocational educational institutions and universities of applied sciences in the construction sector
- Members of the eKosteus development group
In addition, vocational educational institutions and universities of applied sciences in the construction sector are entitled to a discount when purchasing eTiivistys training course.
The customer needs not enter a separate discount code to enjoy an educational institution or member discount – the discounted price is shown at the end of the ordering process, in the order summary. The order must be completed and the discount will show in the final sum.
How does an educational institution order a free training course for a student?
An educational institution purchases the training course from the online store as a one-time order, but instead of paying, the acquisition is free for the educational institution. In the course of the purchase transaction, the educational institution is identified by its business ID. If an educational institution orders from the online store for the first time, before submitting the order, the educational institution’s business ID must be notified by e-mail to the address ekoulutukset@rateko.fi.

Why have our data been transferred to the online store?
On 1 June 2021, ordering of online training courses, the related invoicing and customer service were transferred from Vastuu Group to Suomen Rakennusmedia. Vastuu Group has ceased producing these services and ePerehdytys and eKosteus training courses can no longer be ordered through the Employee Management service. In the same connection, operational data regarding the orders were transferred to Rateko’s online store.

How is consent to the disclosure of personal data given?
A person logging in to any of the courses must give consent to the use of his or personal data upon first logging in. The user cannot access the course before giving consent. The validity of ePerehdytys, eKemikaali and eKosteus training results is visible in online services of Vastuu Group and on the Valtti card, if the person has been added to Vastuu Group’s Employee Management service, and the the employer has a Valtti+ license, through which the information is authorized to the person asking for it. In addition, the training results are visible in the Zeroni access control system.
What has changed in subscription management?
Old order data were transferred from Vastuu Group’s Ilmoita service to the online store on 1 June 2021. The ePerehdytys and eKosteus training courses by Rakennusteollisuuden Koulutuskeskus RATEKO and Suomen Rakennusmedia are ordered and managed through the RATEKO online store (https://verkkokauppa.rateko.fi). The ePerehdytys and eKosteus training courses can no longer be ordered through Vastuu Group’s Ilmoita service (current Employee Management service). The transfer to the new online store does not require any invoicing-related measures and does not affect valid ePerehdytys and eKosteus orders. In the future, the invoices will be issued by Suomen Rakennusmedia Oy.
Who can see transferred orders in the online store?
The order data have been transferred from Vastuu Group to the online store under the main user with whom the data were stored in Vastuu Group’s system. When the user registers with the online store at https://verkkokauppa.rateko.fi/en/my-account/ using the same e-mail address included in Vastuu Group’s data, the user can see orders transferred and submitted in the online store under the item Orders.
Information about main users and their e-mail addresses has been provided by Vastuu Group. An order is visible under a single user only.

How does a participant log in to a course?
New training course login link: https://eperehdytys.mmg.fi/.
The new password to the training environment is sent to the trainees by e-mail and text message. If the message has not arrived, check the spam folder.
If the message is nowhere to be found, the participant can get a new password to the training environment by clicking “Forgot your username or password?“ on the login page. If the resetting link never arrives to the e-mail or phone number and does not show in the participant’s spam folder, send a new password request to the customer service using the link of the Forgot your password function.
Note! Password requests are processed manually and processing delays are possible, so the password is not updated at once.
A personal tax number is required for logging in to a training course.
